Shotgun Home Defense

This course is intended for individuals with little or no shotgun experience and is designed to set the groundwork for safe shotgun home defense. This is for personal home security using a shotgun, the SGR staff stands ready to be your guide. Students will be exposed to safe handling of a shotgun, basic operations, and basic home defense. We will also cover legal aspects of deadly force and how it relates to personal protection. This is a great opportunity for beginners to ask questions , get answers in a fun and friendly environment. There will be sometime for one-on-one instruction and time on the range to practice the skills learned in the class under the supervision of our outstanding staff. The completion of this course will give you the basic foundation to start an exciting journey with shotguns as well as other firearm courses offered by SGR.
